This book is the second in the Raven Cycle.
I liked this book so much more than "The Raven Boys". As I mentioned in that review the first half of the book dragged a lot and I didn't feel like we heard enough about Ronan's life before the start of the book. This book didn't have dragging issues and really focused on Ronan andmade me like Ronan a lot more. I understand his character better, and don't feel like he's a rather pointless annoyance.
In my review for "The Raven Boys" I also mentioned that the writing style was bothersome for me and I feel like that was smoothed out a lot in this book, but I may have also just been more prepared.
As for the other characters, I still love the other women of Fox Way. I love how Gansey and Blue's relationship is progressing. But Adam, really, really? Like I get that the events from the last book have had some impact on his personality but Jeeze most of the book I wanted to toss him out on his ass.
