The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie - Alan Bradley

My mom has been bugging my sister and I to read this book since she read it. I was skeptical of it being worth my time but I'm glad that I read it. I think Flavia is such a great protagonist, I'm glad we have a young female who is interested in science and deductive reasoning.  Her obsessions with poising was a little intense, and I'd sorted out the whodunnit pretty early on but it was still such a great story that I appreciated it and completely enjoyed.
