Magic Slays

Magic Slays - Ilona Andrews

This book has felt the most realistic to me in the crime front as well as in the interactions department. I really enjoyed seeing Kate work through relationship doubt and the impact of becoming the official mate and alpha. I liked seeing Curran deal with his feelings of betrayal. My heart broke for Ascanio and Julie in the scene where ones heart would break.

Overall it was really just solid for me and now I'm chomping at the bit for the 6th book, but I had to request it from a library on the other side of the state, so eventually it will get here.
