World War Z
Lets start with the one thing I really didn't like about this audiobook this is the abridged version which the only version I could get my hands on. Apparently when the move came out a less abridged (but still abridged version) came out, and apparently there is an unabridged version that isn't available in America .
That being said this was a really great audiobook. The story was interesting it was easy to suspend my disbelief and dive into this. The audiobook is preformed by a full cast which helps dive into the story. Also sense the book is billed as an Oral History, it only feels right that it be an audiobook. Max Brooks took an fantastical pandemic and put it into a social and political framework that was easy to believe, leading to interesting contemplations about the global response to a massive health crisis.
Over all I really liked the book, and am now wondering if I should read the full version.
