A Great and Terrible Beauty
I remember this book was floating around my house when I was growing up, and my sister loved it, however I read this book when I was in some what of a reading slump. I liked it, I just didn't love it. I'm curious about the rest of the series and what lies in store for Gemma and her friends and what's going to happen with Kartik, so I'm going to keep going but I just wasn't as enthralled with this book as I wish I had been. I can't pick a reason I wasn't so I wonder if it was the slump that made me so meh about it or something else (maybe the time period since I don't usually go for historical books?). Sigh. Reading Slumps am I right?
