The Serpent's Shadow
This book took me over a month because I just wasn't feeling it. It's also one I listened to with my husband which might have also been an issue as we just didn't have time together to listen to it when I was feeling it. Eh.
Anyway as stories go, it was a nice wrap up for the series. I'm surprised no one talks about this series when talking about Riordan because growing up I knew way more people into Egyptian mythology than Greek. Also Carter and Sadie where good main characters. I'm interested in the crossovers stuff between the two storylines though probably not enough to read them. Is that a terrible sign? I don't know as an older reader these just didn't grab me as much as the Percy Jackson books.
