A Raisin in the Sun

A Raisin in the Sun - Lorraine Hansberry

I have been carrying this book around for about a decade, and I finally read it. I DNFed it when I first got it though I'm not really sure why, I think it was probably because the intro was tough to get through.  That being said I found the play wonderful, and a beautiful look into the world of a 1950's black family. The intro talks about the way that people misinterpret this play and I just had to shake my head about all these apparently very confused white folk, since their interpretations where not even hinted at in the text.
