So fun fact I have a minor in Botany and a fascination with food history. This book was a good cursory look at the foods that we make into alcohol. But it's super cursory, and I would have liked a slightly deeper dig into things. I listened to this as an audiobook because I was interested in the food history side of things more than the drink recipes but obviously the text version would be better for getting the recipes from. If this sort of subject matter interested you or you want some good recipes that highlight the plants in your drinks I'd pick this book up.
