The Silkworm Review
It took me months to finish Cuckoo's Calling. Thankfully I didn't have that issue with this book. I enjoyed this book a lot and it reminded me of the joy that I got reading Agatha Christie when I was younger. On the mystery side of the story I have very few complaints. On the interpersonal relationship side of things I have some gripes. I enjoy the characters personalities and voice. That being said I spent about the first half of the book being very nervous about where things were going with the Strike Robin dynamic.There were portions of that first half that just seemed off to me.
Bottom line: I'm excited to read the next books in this series but I still feel nervous about the direction that Strike Robin maybe (could be) taken.
